Saturday 18th June 2005: "A lady walked past and said that she had been born on Brighton,
so we chatted to her and found out her name was Lilian Jackson (nee Purcell) and she
was born on Brighton in 1939 at the bottom of Buckby Locks. Not the only one that weekend
to have connection with the boats; another lady said her uncle used to work on Nuneaton,
then another lady said her father captained Nuneaton when she was a teenager and
remembered working the locks and taking the helm, and a gentlemen remembered the boats
when they were camping boats....
